What to Expect When You File Your Taxes for 2020
At D.K. Arndt, we are anticipating very limited “in-person” appointments and more discussions over the phone or through video conferences. For your safety and ours, this is a must in order to do our part to help limit the spread of Covid-19. Clients will be getting their information to us by dropping it off, scanning and uploading it to their secure NetClient portal, or simply mailing it to us.
Did you receive your “stimulus” check? We will need to know the amount you received as this will be an additional reconciliation task on your 2020 tax return.
Did you receive any PPP funds? We need to know the amount and the date you received it. It does not count as income…yet. Stay tuned for developments from the Small Business Administration on that one.
Did you get an IEDL loan? Did you receive any grants? The more information you can tell us, the better.
At DKA, we’re adjusting to different methods of how we communicate with our clients, while still bringing the high-quality service we strive for. Get ready for a roller coaster tax season!
