COVID-19 Statement

Thank you for working with us in the preparation of your 2019 income tax returns during these unprecedented times due to COVID 19. We are all learning to be mindful of keeping each other safe during this pandemic.

Projections for COVID 19 would indicate another upswing in confirmed cases in the 4th quarter of this year and carrying through the winter months. For your safety, and ours, we will not be scheduling appointments this year; once you have assembled all of your income tax information you can provide us with the information in the following manners:

  • You may drop off your tax information with one of our receptionists, or preferably at one of our secure and convenient drop box locations. In Forest City, our new drop box is located by the back door of our office.
  • Use your secure portal to upload your information to us.
  • Mail your information (we suggest using priority or certified mail).
  • We do not recommend e-mail unless it is secured by encryption software.

Please provide us your information as soon as possible. This will allow us the proper amount of time required to professionally complete your tax returns in the manner that you have become accustom to. Tax information that is dropped off in April will more than likely have to be extended as we will be unable to complete a large volume of returns before the April 15th deadline.

If you absolutely require an appointment, please feel free to call our office and schedule one. There will be no reminder notice issued. Please call us if you need to reschedule your appointment.

If on the day of your appointment, you or any of your immediate family have a cold, cough, fever, or do not feel well, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment because we will not be able to allow you into our offices if your health is compromised. We apologize for the inconvenience, but with the uncertainty of this virus we feel this is best for your safety as well as ours.

When you deliver your tax information to us, we ask that you include a phone number and the best time of day to contact you so that we may call you with any questions we may have in processing your tax returns. Also make note of any changes to your return, such as changes to your dependents or direct deposit information. If you were scheduled to make estimated tax payments, please list the amount and dates the estimates were made for both federal and state returns.
