Staff Information

	David K. Arndt, CPA Forest City Office DKACPA@DKARNDTCPA.NET David has been a certified public accountant since 1984. He began his career in Minneapolis, MN where he became the manager of a regional certified public accounting firm. He moved to Forest City in 1992 to work with a local CPA. He acquired the practice in 1994 and incorporated the firm under the name D.K. Arndt, P.C. in 1996. David became licensed as an investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. in 1999. He is the managing shareholder of D.K. Arndt, P.C. and is responsible for the quality of services provided. His strong sense of commitment to client services is the driving force behind the success of D.K. Arndt, P.C. and its clients. David volunteers his services to several organizations and causes. He is currently a member of Wartburg College’s audit committee. He is the treasurer of Forest City Dollars for Education and his church. He is a board member of the Forest City Economic Development, and Past-President of the local Rotary International Club. Dave also serves as president of his local investment club. In addition he volunteers as an assistant baseball coach for the High School Baseball team and he has been a co-host of local sports talk radio program for the last ten years. David lives in Forest City with his wife Arlene. Their daughter, Megan, holds a B.S degree in health sciences from the University of Iowa and is enrolled in a nursing program. Their son, Tyler, is currently a senior at Iowa State University where is majoring in landscape architecture

	Gustave R. Byom, CPA Forest City Office GBCPA@DKARNDTCPA.NET Gus joined D.K. Arndt P.C. in 1999, and passed his CPA exam in February 2000. Gus works with a number of individual as well as corporate clients. In January 2004, he became a minority in the company. Gus is involved in the boards of local non-profit organizations. Gus lives in Garner with his wife Keri, sons Clay and Camren and daughter Kailyn.

	Douglas G. Bruhns, CPA Forest City and Lake Mills Offices DGBCPA@DKARNDTCPA.NET Doug joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in November 2006. Prior to becoming a staff member with the company, Doug owned and operated Midwest Tax and Accounting in Lake Mills. Doug also possesses many years of accounting experience in private industry. Doug has two grown sons and lives in Lake Mills with his wife Shannon.

	Jared Schnebly Forest City Office JSCHNEBLY@DKARNDTCPA.NET Jared began working at D.K. Arndt, P.C. in July 2008. Prior to joining our staff Jared worked for The Principal Financial Group in Mason City. Jared is a volunteer fire fighter on the Forest City Fire Department. He is a board member of the Bear Creek Golf Course as well as a member of the Forest City Rotary Club. Jared lives in Forest City with his fiancé Lindsey Dewitt and his daughter Aubrey.

	Deena Lewison Forest City Office DKAFC@DKARNDTCPA.NET Deena has worked for D.K. Arndt, P.C. since 1998. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and payroll processing services. Deena lives in Forest City with her husband Jeff, son Alec and daughter Molly, their son Zach goes to North Central University in Minneapolis, MN.

	Lori Rauk Forest City Office LRAUK@DKARNDTCPA.NET Lori has been with D.K. Arndt, P.C. since 1998. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and payroll processing services. Lori lives on an acreage outside of Forest City with her husband Jeff. Their son Mathew works at Winnebago Industries and their daughter Alexandra attends college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.

	Chad Anderson Forest City Office CANDERSON@DKARNDTCPA.NET Chad joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in October 2009. Prior to joining the staff at D.K. Arndt, P.C. he worked for the City of Forest City. Chad enjoys sports and attending his children’s activities. Chad lives in Forest City with his wife Stacy and their children Tyler, Hannah and Emma.

	Jerry Nedved Garner Office DKAGR@DKARNDTCPA.NET Jerry owned and operated Nedved Accounting & Tax Service of Garner, Iowa for 13 years. Prior to that, he was employed in the banking business for 29 years. Jerry joined DK Arndt PC in 2005 where he manages the Garner office.

	Judy Nedved Garner Office DKAGR@DKARNDTCPA.NET Judy has over 30 years of clerical experience. She was office manager for Nedved Accounting & Tax Service of Garner, Iowa for 13 years. She joined DK Arndt, PC in 2005 and works primarily with payroll and bookkeeping services.

	Ray Waddingham, CPA Garner Office RWADDINGHAM@DKARNDTCPA.NET Ray has been working in the field of public accounting for the past twenty-three years with a primary emphasis in individual and business income taxes, and small business accounting. He joined DK Arndt, PC in 2005.

	Danielle Gifford Garner Office DGCPA@DKARNDTCPA.NET Danielle Gifford joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in July 2010. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2008 with a B.A. in Accounting and has worked in public accounting for the last 2 years. She has experience in all aspects of accounting and income taxes for individual, commercial and not-for-profit entities. Danielle is licensed to practice as a CPA in the state of Iowa and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of CPAs. Danielle currently resides in Mason City with her family.

	David M. Iverson, CPA Lake Mills & Greene Offices DMICPA@DKARNDTCPA.NET Dave has been a CPA since 1982, and been involved with financial services since 1989. Dave is a shareholder of the firm and is the manager of the Lake Mills and Greene offices. Dave specializes in business tax consulting and retirement planning. Dave lives in Greene with his wife Molly.

	Julie Jessen Lake Mills Office DKALM@DKARNDTCPA.NET Julie joined the D.K. Arndt staff in April 2007 after graduating from Hamilton Business College. Julie performed her internship with the Forest City office of D.K. Arndt, P.C. Julie lives in Fertile with her husband Keith. Julie and Keith have three daughters, which all are currently attending colleges in Iowa.

	Danny Johnson Belmond Office DKABD@DKARNDTCPA.NET Dan joined DK Arndt, PC in January 2010, by merging his practice of 20 years with the DK Arndt firm. He has been a CPA serving the Belmond area for over 30 years. Dan specializes in individual & corporate tax return preparation; but also provides payroll processing & general accounting services. Dan has served on the local Theatre board for 18 years; in addition, he has been associated with the Belmond United way for 29 years. He lives in Belmond with his wife Carmen. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.

	Carmen Johnson Belmond Office DKABD@DKARNDTCPA.NET Carmen has been associated with the Belmond office for 30 years. She is responsible for individual & corporate tax return processing, and general clerical duties. She volunteers as treasurer for church, and is currently on the board of Sencar, Inc.

	Cathy Willms Belmond Office DKABD@DKARNDTCPA.NET Cathy has been associated with the Belmond office for about 10 years. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and payroll processing services. Cathy and her husband Vince have five grown children and live in Belmond.

	Betty Nash Belmond Office BNASH@DKARNDTCPA.NET Betty joined D.K. Arndt, PC in October 2010 and works out of the Belmond office. She joins the D.K. Arndt team with experience in employer taxes as well as business financial reporting. Betty earned her B.A. in Accounting with highest honors from the American Institute of Business, Des Moines, and is currently testing to obtain her CPA certification. Some of her hobbies, in addition to family time, include biking, kayaking, reading, and Jazzercise of which she is an instructor teaching several classes a week. She and her husband, Todd, have two sons and live on an acreage south of Belmond.
