David has been a certified public accountant since 1984.  He began his career in Minneapolis, MN where he became the manager of a regional certified public accounting firm.  He moved to Forest City in 1992 to work with a local CPA.  He acquired the practice in 1994 and incorporated the firm under the name D.K. Arndt, P.C. in 1996.  David became licensed as an investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. in 1999.  He is the managing shareholder of D.K. Arndt, P.C. and is responsible for the quality of services provided.  His strong sense of commitment to client services is the driving force behind the success of D.K. Arndt, P.C. and its clients.

David volunteers his services to several organizations and causes. He is the treasurer of Forest City Dollars for Education, as well as the chairman of the planned giving committee. He is a board member of the Forest City Economic Development, and Rotary International Club. Dave serves as president of a local investment club. He also volunteers with the High School Baseball team as assistant coach.

David lives in Forest City with his wife Arlene. His daughter, Megan, is currently a senior at the University of Iowa. His son Tyler is currently a sophomore at Iowa State University.

Gus joined D.K. Arndt P.C. in 1999, and passed his CPA exam in February 2000. Gus works with a number of individual as well as corporate clients. In January 2004, he became a minority shareholder in the company. Gus lives in Garner with his wife Keri, his son Clay and daughter Kailyn.

Doug joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in November 2006. Prior to becoming a staff member with the company, Doug owned and operated Midwest Tax and Accounting in Lake Mills. Doug also possesses many years of accounting experience in private industry. Doug has two grown sons and lives in Lake Mills with his wife Shannon.
